Since 2021

The SavoirAir founders have known each other for over ten years and combine 45 years of aviation experience. They met while working for one of the world’s largest international law firms.

One of their favourite projects was successfully completed for one of the largest commercial airlines in the world. Their work saw them create, coordinate and implement a multi-continental campaign that navigated geopolitical, business and lobbying challenges. Their work laid the foundation for the airline to secure additional landing opportunities in Canada.

With these experiences together, they have decided to once again partner-up to build SavoirAir, the next big thing in discreet, custom, aviation logistics, operations and management.

Our Leadership Team

Patrick Robert

Co-Founder / CEO

Patrick Robert is an aviation executive and entrepreneur whose career spans aviation leadership, law firm advisory, government relations, and business strategy.

As CEO, he is the driving force behind SavoirAir's vision to create Canada's premier one-stop destination for premium aviation — leading the company's strategic direction, business development, and marketing growth across all its service lines, including private jet charters, aviation law, aircraft management, aircraft financing, cargo operations, and luxury travel.

He oversees client relationships, operational leadership, and expansion into new markets, ensuring every touchpoint reflects the boutique, white-glove standard the SavoirAir brand demands.

Prior to co-founding SavoirAir, Patrick served as Chief Executive Officer of ENTAIR Inc. and Enterprise Airlines, where he led a full-service executive airline with over 80 employees and multiple aircraft. There, he drove exceptional customer experience, focused on growth, and expanded services while keeping the operation lean and versatile — experience he carries directly into SavoirAir today.

He has held roles at Amazon, Gowlings Law, Dentons, and Fleishman Hillard, building deep expertise in business strategy, regulatory law, government relations, stakeholder engagement, and communications. His legal training — an LL.L. and a BA in Political Science, both from the University of Ottawa — gives him a sharp edge in navigating the regulatory, transactional, and contractual complexities of the aviation industry.

Beyond his executive work, Patrick sits on a mix of corporate and non-profit boards with a focus on mining, philanthropy, youth, the arts, and mental health.

He brings his passion for deal-making and an exceptional network to the helm of SavoirAir, positioning the company for bold and purposeful growth.

Pat Floyd

Co-Founder/ Chief Legal Officer

Patrick "Pat" Floyd brings to SavoirAir a rare and formidable combination of legal mastery, operational depth, and firsthand aviation experience that spans continents and cockpits. As Co-Founder, Chief Legal Officer, and Chief Aviation Officer, he is the technical and regulatory backbone of the company — ensuring that SavoirAir operates at the highest standard of safety, compliance, and operational excellence across every service line.

Pat is a proven expert in providing legal and operational services to aviation companies across Canada, the United States, and internationally. Throughout his legal career, he has represented aviation clients in complex corporate and commercial matters — including aircraft acquisition and financing — as well as in litigation before Canadian federal and provincial courts, regulatory tribunals including the TATC, and before authorities such as Transport Canada, the TSB, CBSA, and the CTA. In the United States, he has appeared in federal and state courts across New York, California, and Florida, before the NTSB, and before the DOJ, FAA, FEMA, and DOT — a breadth of regulatory experience that gives SavoirAir a decisive advantage in cross-border aviation transactions and operations.

Pat spent a decade as an in-house aviation lawyer, serving both the Canadian air-traffic control system and an aviation firefighting group operating principally in the US and Australia — giving him an intimate understanding of how aviation organizations function from the inside out.

Over a 15-year career as a commercial pilot and mechanic, he flew and maintained aircraft across Canada — including the Arctic — as well as in the United States, the Middle East, and Africa. As a pilot, he flew bush and jungle operations in crop dusters and bush aircraft up to the DC-3. As a mechanic, he worked on everything from small single-engine aircraft to jets, and from light helicopters to Sikorsky S-61s. He holds commercial pilot and mechanic licenses in both Canada and the United States — a combination that is virtually unmatched in the legal world.

Pat also serves as legal counsel to the sport parachuting industry and to the Canadian Sport Parachuting Association (CSPA), representing them in litigation and regulatory matters. A decorated competitor himself, he has won multiple Canadian National medals in skydiving and claimed a bronze medal in 8-way formation skydiving at the World Championships.

He sits on the EAA Legal Advisory Committee and chairs the CSPA Governmental Regulatory Committee — reflecting his enduring commitment to aviation safety, governance, and community.
